Aptamer based point-of-care diagnosis and RNA therapeutics
Research and Development (R&D) start-up company seeking for new state-of-art technologies upon utilising RNA aptamers
Technology
Fluorogenic RNA Aptamer
Fluorogenic Mango RNA aptamer is a specialized RNA segment, and the tertiary structure of Mango RNA specifically binds to a fluorogenic ligand, TO1-Biotin.
The fluorescence signal of the ligand is exponentially enhanced only upon Mango RNA binding, and this feature has a strong advantage for single molecule RNA imaging.
MANGO-NASBA Kit
MANGO-NASBA kit has been developed to meet the urgent needs of a rapid and accurate point-of-care diagnosis during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The theoretical limit of detection (LOD) is ~1 RNA molecule/µL, approaching the detection limit of RT-PCR, but is much faster and cheaper.
Our technology is potentially applied for any target RNA detection in patient samples (Saliva, Blood plasma, and cultured cells):
Pathogen / RNA-related diseases (including cancer)
Features :
No RNA isolation, Rapid, One-pot reaction, Isothermal reaction, and High compatibility with buffer (e.g., guanidin-containing viral transport buffer)
Comparison of available detection methods
Detection Device
FRAM
A portable MANGO fluorescence detector, monitoring the MANGO signals over time at a defined temperature.
Bluetooth-anabled device (Wireless detection available coming near future)
Lateral Flow Strip Assay
MANGO-Aptamer based pathogen detections
Now MANGO-NASBA amplified signlas are detected on the test line of lateral flow strip.
Mycoplasma Detection
We offer a LFA-based sensitive mycoplasma detection kit (coming soon)
